I’m stepping on the terrace with wool socks on and watching how the last rays of the sun peek between the garden trees – only a moment before they disappear below the horizon – like saying farewell to this day and giving new hope in the dreams of the next day. I can smell the humidity in the air, as if before a light summer rain. I open the door and the warmth of the fireplace welcomes me. Rain may come – its patter on the roof my wooden house will quickly lull me to sleep.
